wedding fair
Our next wedding fair is at The Quality Hotel, Walsall on the 9th March - come and meet us! We will have all our personalised ranges for you to see and we will be with our sister site www.namesongifts.co.uk with their ranges of gifts for guests and bride & grooms.
New Ideas
We're always looking for new ideas for weddings! The great ideas that we get from customers, we try to use to create and source new products that brides & grooms would love. This does get more and more challenging as the years go by, because everyone wants something that little bit different at their wedding. I do remember a few years ago (probably about 15 !) when a customer asked about Italian bonbonniere, now I had never heard of these, but found a supplier and started selling tulle and almonds. We were primarily a cook/cake decorating shop, but once we started selling wedding favours, we saw the need for wedding products that people could buy to produce their own wedding favours. The wedding products have just grown so much since then, but I love it, because it is always changing, the colours, the trends, fashion.
Our biggest find for 2007 was the 'wishing well', the post boxes that bride & grooms ask their guests if they want to post money or vouchers into, instead of a wedding 'gift'. It has always been a dilemma whether to give a gift list, ask for vouchers or money, but with modern day couples knowing exactly what they would like in their new home, or more often already having a fully fitted home, it is such a great idea to be able to ask for what you really want. (It is also so much easier for you guests too!) So now we have four different versions of the wishing well and are just trying to keep up with demand.
Personalised wedding items are also very popular and getting even more popular in '08, ribbon printed with bride & grooms names and their wedding date looks great on all sorts of things. But our latest new idea is adhesive labels which can be prnted in silver or gold (as well as other colours) which look great on favour boxes place cards and wishing wells. But if anyone out there has any other ideas do let me know!
